Day 30 was to Grand Island NE. We had a little extra time to sleep as well as a short ride. After breakfast we got rolling for a day with little to no hills. It seemed very flat for the most part and there was loads of corn.
We had an arrival and we were staged up at a john deer dealership and we had a blast relaxing. I road with Reggie today and we killed it. We road to our arrival at the holiday inn and enjoyed some press photos. We put our stuff away and had lunch with people from the ARC of Nebraska and it was amazing. KFC, DQ, and sonic all donated food for us!
We had free time afterwards which I used to take a nap and a long shower. For dinner we went to the Elks lodge where we enjoyed some good burgers and danced the night away. Everyone was really high on energy even though it was really hot.
Afterwards we were dismissed for the night and one of the ARC clients invited us to sonic and a couple of guys and myself went for some smoothies. We had some laughs and then said goodbye as we headed back to go to sleep.
